The Lakeshore Repeater Association was founded December 23, 1975 to support a communications repeater in the Wisconsin Counties of Racine and Kenosha. The Associations objectives are:
The Association meets quarterly on the last Tuesday of the month at the Sturtevant Police Department, 2801 89th Street in Sturtevant, WI 53177. Meetings start promptly at 7pm CST located in the SPD training room. DMR Digital repeater Q & A workshops for beginners are held once the meeting adjourns. This workshop is a discussion group that helps first time and current DMR digital operators learn about how the DMR network operation works..All member’s are encouraged to attend and participate in this workshop. Annual dues are $25.00 per year or $100 for 5 full years. All memberships expire on December 31st of each calendar year.
We do our part to provide Amateur Radio repeater service in Southeastern Wisconsin. But we need your help to keep going. Lakeshore Repeater Association is a 501(c)(3) not for profit corporation, to make a tax deductible contribution is easy. You are also encouraged to join the Lakeshore Repeater Association or renew your membership. Without your help we may not be able to maintain both the UHF and VHF KR9RK Repeater systems.
Lakeshore Membership Application can be found right on our Home page.
